The 1st activity was called 'The Beach', this activity required
- 4 players
- each with different coloured markers
- taking turns and going into a clockwise direction
- each placing a small dot in the most emptiest space on the page.
We had to do this until we thought the beach was then becoming crowded.
This was what our groups final page looked like, we stopped it here thinking it was getting crowded as we felt as a group to give each dot some space.
The second activity we then took part in was called the 'Perfect Circle'. The aim of the activity was to draw a perfect circle.
- requires 4 players
- 4 different markers
- each player has 30 seconds
- Draw a filled in circle
- take in turn and improve the edges and borders to improve the circle
- stop when you think the circle is perfect
This what out circle looked like. We started of colouring the circle dots in but as the circle started to become slightly larger in size the shading in of the colours ended up becoming circle outlines.
After participating in these activities and having a look at the outcomes of the other groups we realised we all had a slightly different response to the instructions given to us. This therefore shows us that everyone has their own perspective in which they analyse and respond to in different ways. This i see as a positive factor as it shows that there is not only one right approach in doing something there can be many different possible outcomes.
Another positive outcome from this is that it shows you that peer feedback can give you a different perspective which can help you open a new window in observing things.
