Collide Animation

For the main chunk the animation I took images of each step on how to make a chatterbox which I animated in adobe photoshop as I layered them in order onto of each other. I then transferred this file in to Adobe after effects.

The two marbled backgrounds I used for the background for both the title page and the end credits which I faded the opacity down in Adobe after effects and added text on top which I animated. Adding a zoom animation to these backgrounds in after effects. I used the marbling to link with the chatterbox designs to show that they are part of the same project.

Screen captures of the process I went through to make my final animation. I started of by creating a transition of the step by step image I took. I did this by using the opacity so fading in n out the opacity of each layer. I rendered this out as a Quicktime movie. I then did on a new composition the front title of my movie using my marbling I did changing the hue in Photoshop then importing the file into after effects. I added a effect to this so this could animate with the text adding a typewriting effect tot hat to keep it short and simple and rendered this out also. For the end credits I then did the same  ad the title page using the same font and same background. However I added another coloured version of the background on Photoshop so I could animate bot backgrounds for more effect. I used the scale effect where I scaled one in and out using the opacity tool where I both backgrounds could be visible. To finish of I added the typewriter effect to the text and rendered this out. To complete and put the whole animation together I opened a new composition where I imported all 3 rendered Quicktime movies and placed them underneath and after one another to create a continuous animation. To finish off i downloaded a copyright free soundtrack and added this to my animation for a finished piece and then rendered the animation out.

Final animation rendered which I uploaded onto youtube. To develop this further I need to add some sort of a soundtrack to the back to add life to the piece.

Cinema 4D experiments

Post Modernism

Cinema 4D isn't one of my strong factors. For this experiment we was to create small square shapes overlapping one another which we filled in with colour and made them animate recording them to expand.

Dynamics Deformers Particles

Something challenging which we tackled. We started of with a simple star shape object which we then developed and added a twist. To create a 3Dimensional tunnel of some sort for the background. Using the shape tools once again I created many balls which we changed and added colour to animating them to form movement.
